Donald Currie Don’s enthusiastic teaching style keeps Ready Arc students engaged and on their path to graduation day. His extensive experience teaching math for almost three decades means that he knows how to make the technical knowledge needed for a successful welding career make sense. Upon receiving his Bachelor of Education at the University of Prince Edward Island in 1985, Don began his career as a math teacher, starting with Grade 10 at Kennebecasis Valley High School before quickly moving on to Grade 11. His teaching career at KVHS continued until 1992, when he moved on to Hampton High School until his retirement from the public school system in 2014. Over the course of his public school career, Don was also involved in numerous extra-curricular initiatives such as organizing overseas field trips and coaching soccer, volleyball and curling. Don likes to stay busy and uses his spare time in construction and building. He also owns equipment and property rental businesses. Back To "Meet The Experts"
